People just don’t listen

Is this week over yet?  Today wasn’t a good day at work even thou the phones were slow.  People on the phone just don’t want to listen.  I had a patient’s daughter called about her mother’s account.  However she wasn’t “HIPPA” (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and her mother can give us in writing who we can talk to about her account.  So the daughter put her mother on and we have to ask some questions and one of the questions was last four numbers of patient’s social security.  Well she didn’t know that so I explain to her that we would need that so we would know who we are talking to.  She was like asked another question.  I stated to her that we would need that it’s our policy.  Then the daughter got back on the phone and she asked what’s the problem is now.  I explain to her and she was like well can’t you tell she is 85.  Told her I understand but I am going by our policy.  If you didn’t know if I give out any information to anyone beside the patient or who they authorize to speak behalf of them our company can get a fine and it’s not cheap it can be up to $50,000.  I bet most people don’t know about that. Did you know that?  They think its just medical information but its very personal.   Well I wont bored you anymore.  I have to go and pay bills fun fun fun.  Today was payday thou so It’s a good thing.

Monday

Well it’s Monday and I didn’t want to get up.  I was hoping today will go fast.  I had a late start for work but I made it on time.  My co-worker even called me because she didn’t hear from me in the morning.  At work I was working on accounts and answering phone calls.  Then my supervisor asked me if I would sit with a new girl to help her.  I was like sure off the phone you better believe it.  So I sat with her the whole day.  She is doing really well.  The phones weren’t too bad as a Monday can be.  Well I am going to get off and play a game.  Hope Tuesday will be good too but we will see.  Oh talking about work below you will see a pie chart about how you should give 100% at work.  Enjoy!!!

Anthony’s 1st Birthday

Well Anthony’s first birthday is over.  The weather was raining which kinds of suck because we had to move about 30 people inside buts its all good.  Now the house is all quiet.  We got Anthony a red wagon, I just can’t wait for him to get older to really play on it.  I ate so much food I didn’t want anything for dinner. Well its getting late and I have to get up for work.  I don’t want to go in.  I don’t like Mondays what so ever.  I hope it’s not too bad.  But you will know Monday night when I blog.  Below is a photo of Anthony with a caption I put on the photo.

It’s Party Time!!!

Today is my nephew’s 1st Birthday.  I can’t believe is one already time flies.  He is starting to walk and talking a lot more.  He is so cute.  We are going to have a BIG party for him. Danielle is going to do some video and taking some photos.  If I get a cute one I will post one on here.  Well gotta go Danielle and I have to pick up some stuff for the party.

Its Saturday

Well its Saturday morning and it look like a nice day today.  Hope today I can get things done before my nephew birthday party Sunday.  I have to clean the room and I HATE to clean but I know I have to. By the way PA was very cool.  We went over to my wifes friends house Jenn.  Jenn is married and have two kids.  The baby had his first birthday.  Ryan is so cute he is always smiling at people.  Well I better get off of here and start cleaning.  Later.

It’s Friday well for me that is

Well today was my Friday at work. It was so nice just have 3 days this week. Tomorrow Danielle and I are going to PA for a birthday party. Today at work wasn’t too bad for a Wednesday the phones wasn’t busy. So I got a lot work done today before I am off and the question is do I really want to go back on Monday? Well I have to or I will be living on the streets and that won’t be cool. Well I am going to watch some TV. Well I will you next time.

Busy Month

This is going to be such a busy month. Work has been so crazy with the work. Danielle and I are going away soon for our anniversary, cant wait! We are going to PA. We have been wanting to go to PA for awhile, so Danielle paid for a 2 nights and 3 day trip to the Pocono Mountains. How nice! I just hope that the weather is good so we can have a good time.

We are going to go to the Bushkill water falls while were there. I heard that they are really pretty, so we are going to check it out and see what it is all about. Since we like nature, this is good for us. I was really surprised, because Danielle booked it all by herself, and I didn’t put any money toward it.  Shes a working girl now!
